ICTENSW Regional Champions
ICTENSW are helping support the implementation of the Digital Technologies curriculum in regional NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to join other aspiring lead teachers in the ICTENSW Regional Champions professional learning program thanks to the support of Google Educator PD grants.
ICT Educators NSW in partnership with the Australian Computing Academy (ACA) of The University of Sydney, will run a scholarship program for regional teachers to support their regional areas with the implementation of the Digital Technologies syllabus. The goal of the Regional Champions Program is to build up the pedagogical and content knowledge of up to 10 teachers that they can take back to share with other teachers in their regions.
The scholarship includes flights to Sydney, accommodation and enrolment in a 2-day course run by the Australian Computing Academy as well as a day long masterclass to upskill teachers to deliver professional learning in their own regions.
The dates for the courses are the 18th -20th June 2018.
